Just watched a documentary on an American dog-handling unit. The first dog they followed got shot to death, the second got stabbed to death, then the handler they were following got shot and killed in the line of duty too... Very bizarre, I don't think my childhood dream of being John Belushi in K9 can come true now, due to my irrational fear of getting shot in the head.

Coming back to this, it's the same channel where I saw an episode of "Shauna's Amazing Animal Clips", featuring a cat that would ride around with it's master on his motorbike. They tacked on right at the end something along the lines of "Since filming, cat and master were both killed in a head-on crash"...
