Walked 30 minutes in the pisssing rain, my supervisor wasnt't there and I got the most awful jobs ever with a 17 year old telling me what to do.
Then I thought I was going to get mugged on the way home.
I'll just wait until my cash runs out.
Poor Sheepy
If it's bad enough to leave, just walk...worked for me every time.
I hope nobody notices and they pay me.

That's ridiculous. Most places I've worked don't even have a notice period until you've been there a year.
I'll just say I quit Uni or something and moved away.

Ahh right, didn't realise you had a notice period, thought you hadn't been there long?
Just tell them you have a sick relative who lives miles away and you need to go look after them for two months because there's no-one else in the country who can look after them.
Worked for my ex-line manager when he quit after two days, two weeks later and they're thinking about taking him back on.
I just won't turn up!
> So... how should I go about quitting?
You could tell them you've been offered a better paid job somewhere else, then hand in your written notice. Worked for me when I left John Lewis, although admitedly, I wasn't lying about the better paid job.

And you'll be able to write a BBC3 sitcom based on your experience.
