Just had a call from SR... my MAXX PC has been despatched.
Hopefully that means it will arrive tomorrow, and that gives me 4 days to play before I go on holiday.

Ok, Hand of Fate on the PC. First level. I could never get past the rat in the cave. I needed a spell. I was stuck on this level for about a year and I'm not exaggerating. Anyway I ended up putting everything I had in the couldron and, to my surprise, it turned green. I had the spell. It's a shame the rest of the game was so easy really.

Monkey Island 2: LeChucks Revenge
Managed to get through all the Ugly Bone Things in LeChucks Fortress and there's that huge dorr with tons of locks and stuff on. I tried everything, blowing it up, pushing it etc etc... And finally I just clicked on "Open" then on "Door", DOH!
Oh and also in the MI2 Lite Version. You have to feed the parrot some crackers to get him to tell you where the treasure is. I kept looking round the jungle for crackers, it never occured to me that they MIGHT POSSIBLY be in the barrel marked 'Crackers'
DUH!!!!
