I have a weird waxy substance that forms on it. Anyone else? Usually it's in little circles, like grey spilt wax. I scrape it off and it forms again over time. Dirt or something maybe?

Your hands always have some sweat,muck and other things on them. If you keep useing the mouse, its all going to go off on to it.Fact.

Well they won't noticeably, but your hand will be 'moist' from contact with the mouse - your hands nearly always are; run your finger along your palm.

Same thing happens to me, but I dont have a Mouse Mat, it's the mouse that forms it.

Are you sure it's sweat? My hands never sweat when using the computer.

I havent had a mousemat in years...

I get this on the base of the mouse itself om the raised bits

I have an optical mouse as well. It happens less often with this one, but very frequently with the ball mouse.
