nintendo almost seem to be like a magic act these days but you won't get what I mean....
nintendo always seem to reveal soemthing at the last minute like a appearing act. If you ask me they are the ones who start off the next gen console with some all new games and features...
They seem to bring up new peripheral ideas, new games which are like no others and some cool consoles too.
Where would anyone else be with out nintendo as their guid line? EH?

Sega would still be there without Nintendo as their guideline. So would Sony. So would MS. Oh, sorry. Have I mentioned the names of ALL of the developers with next-gen consoles?
Seriously, though, Ninny are pretty good @ originality in their games, but don't forget Sega. You should hear about some of their absolutely bonkers games they bring out in Japan. They're all original, although they do make you wonder if someone put "Mad Disease" bacteria in the Sega sandwiches in the development sector.
I think that there are so many new ideas that can come out of both Sega and Nintendo in particular. I think both companies' employees eat too much cheese before bedtime. (That's assuming that it IS cheese which makes you completely barmy the next morning- a popular belief. What? You never heard that one before? Oh well......)

Probably buying mediochre games from Sony..oh wait hang on without Nintendo Sony wouldnt have even started on the PSX, we'd all probably have a DC or maybe without the competition SEGA didnt bring out the DC and we still all had master systems!

Nintendo shield everyone till the last minute to prevent other companies from stealing their ideas. Simple as that.
