Anyone got their new album?

I'll probably get it anyway, just wondering your opinions

They can certain out-ballad anyone out there at the moment - if you like shouty music, avoid. I'm really getting into Leaders of the Free World, there's some absolute gems in there.

All I've ever heard of Elbow are their cover versions (Independant Woman, Got Me Tripping); and I utterly loved 'em.

From what I can gather, they're a somewhat less grumpy version of The Beta Band.

Just bought this on my lunch break. I so want to go home and listen to it. It's not fair. Bloody work.

Strangely enough, the local Tesco didn't have the Sigur Ros album. Or Scrubs.
Useless.

I'll get it for sure soon enough, big fan.
Just the slight problem of paying for it.

I'll buy the Elbow today, but don't particularly like the lead off single. Having said that, I wasn't so keen on the lead off single of Cast of Thousands but still loved the album.

Takk has some great stuff on it. Slightly less moody and ambient than ( ).

What a day - Elbow and Sigur Ros albums AND the second series of Scrubs on DVD.
