"User removed"

I've got a little window ion my desktop that I can't close. It's says 'User Removed', apparently it's a Java Applet Window.

Any idea why this has occured?

(This is my non-crap PC by the way not the one that's been having all the problems)

I have other programs.

And no it appears to be a java plug-in screwing up.

I'm not saying this is the cause of your original problem I'm just expanding on your Zone Alarm statement.

You can have malware/adware/spyware on your PC without it needing to access the internet to "do it's job", so don't rely solely on your Firewall...


EDIT: If you would like help with the "user removed" icon is it possible to provide a screen shot ?

But if any of my programs are changed or try to access the internet without my say-so then Zone Alarm warns me of this.

This hasn't happened and I haven't installed any new programs recently.

Zone Alarm is a firewall not an anti spyware application.

Spyware and Adware often comes 'packaged' with another program you may use, so won't be stopped by a firewall.

Think it's a java plug-in screwing up.

Just looks so weird with 'User removed' coming up in a little window.

And yes 'icon', it's late-ish.

A what? i assume you mean icon. can you screenie it or say what it's an icon for? that way removal should be easier.

If it's for filth it's ok they download themselves half the time when you go to warez or phone sites.
