But txting just isn't working, wtfz
I want to text Canada, and the code is 1.
They can text me easily but...I can't them.
Do I just throw the 1 on the beginning or what?
She will be made up now when I tell her because I normally have to wait for her to phone the house and that. Plus it only 5p a minute to international calls anyway.

All I had to do was dial 00, which is UKs prefix code, then 1 for America's international code.
So it was 001(San Francisco area code)(number)
I'd post something relating to the OP question, but it's already been answered.
I didnt read the topic, thought you were off on your holiballs.

You still can.
My mum does it all the time, and it's the most annoying thing ever.
The worst is when she ends her texts with an x.

No, Sheepy sweety - that's to text Britain from abroad.
Thanks for your help though, dear.

Wouldn't that make Scotland the centre of the universe though?
XD
Anyway, from Holland I texted my mum to say that I'd arrived, and I just texted her normal mob number. I didn't bother with the +44 bit. It just worked normally for me.
