Surely not. That'd be really unfair if someone had bid over the reserve, i think my description is right...

Never done that. Honestly I only bother to bid when 'unpopular items' come on cos everything else goes for over it's value

When I sign out it says 1.04 for the next bid which would point towards the reserve not being met. When I asked the person how much the reserve was he said 'half the retail value'. When these haven't been made in years and are imported it isn't much help

I think the system may be screwin' up cos I don't want to put in an insane amount incase the reserve is low but with no other bidders the price isn't rising, hence you can't really tell whats going on

That's not happening. I put in a bid of 99p, £10, £20 and it's still on 99p.
Btw: I'm trying to beat the reserve, there is no other interest
