I have some MPEG 4 video files on my PC but Quicktime will not play them, it just comes up with error -8971. I had a look around on the net to find help but the only thing I could find was a post on apples web site saying to clear the recent movie list, I have tried this but it has had no effect. If anyone has any ideas I would love to hear them? Thanks.

That's funnt.

The DivX music player has a skin, where there's a woman's face and she screams every time there's a thud in the bass.

It makes me laugh.

After a Quick Google:

"Apple's developer site calls this [error -8971] the codecExtensionNotFoundErr (Codec extension not found error)"

Something to do with beeing compressed using H.264

QT6 won't play it on Windows, but try the beta of QT7
