Heard anything?
The album's worth a try, though. See if you can get some samples from somewhere - dredg.com, for instance. There's a track called "Bug Eyes" that I heard on there and initially disliked, but I got quite into it when I bought the album.
Fancy doing a quick yousendit.com for me?
Initially disappointing. Seems to be, as a lot of online reviews have said, more of a collection of songs than a cohesive concept album as the previous two were/are. It definitely seems more formulaic. No short instrumental tracks, either.
It has grown on me though, there are lots of little Dredg flourishes that I love, even if they can't stop themselves from bunging in a chorus at the end. It's a knack that they have, even when they do a song that's not as good as you expect it to be, there's still a really good bit that makes it worth while.
I'm not really sure about it. Not as good as the other two, but I don't regret buying it. A few dodgy lyrics also.
