I too felt pretty let down by TG so wont be bothering with TG2, would deffo say SA over TG2 if only for the driving, the driving experience in TG was awful whereas the cars in GTA series, be it GTA3 or Vice City are absolutely fantastic.

I think WookieMonster (who) said in a post quite a while ago, the driving standards set in GTA3 & VC make most games with cars in them feel pretty inadequate .... I wont even attempt to go into the rest of the comparisons.

Summary : San Andreas all the way :)

Hmmm, you can mod cars, become overweight, drive through three cities and 12 small towns, explore a countryside, get tattoo's that a recognised by different gangs and the police, learn combat moves from dojo's and do over casino’s in San Andreas.

While in The Getaway 2... er... you can here stereotypical cockneys shout "You slaaaag" allot.

I enjoyed the original getaway, though I think that's because I got it free so didn't feel cheated out of £40. The sequel does look better, but trying to compare it to San Andreas that actually looks like it's making a decent go at being a completely new game, suddenly makes the Getaway 2 look a little flat.

TG2 will have to improve a hell of alot from the original if it is even to come close to SA

I'm betting it won't though

If that's the case, my drive home from work in 10 minutes is going to be the best experience of my life.

The 1st Getaway was crap.

Hey The Getaway gots real streets and cars and, San andreas are different use cars and streets.

the getaway is meant to be good, but when it comes to san andreas, thats always gonna win over just about any game at the min
