I knew it'd be a hit outside of Japan causing a big DS sales boost.

Why people would do that I have no idea. When shopping today there were PSP's all over the place. I couldn't find a single shop that had any "sold out" stickers or anything.
Maybe they'd have told me they had sold out if I'd gone to the till to buy one, but I gave myself a firm slap to stop myself from what would have been a very costly impulse buy.
UMD movies for £22, and about a million PSPs on the shelves, as of 5pm.
Ahar.

What? No, didn't you read my post. It was on the news, it wasn't a "review". he called it a childs toy! The PSP, and kept implying that gaming was just for children, despite the fact that all of the "gaming geeks" waiting for the PSP were over 25 (Although the people they interviewed did seem quite dimwitted:
"So what's so great about the PSP?"
"It's so nice to look at, and, er, it's cool to have the latest thing, you know, it's sort of like, it's cool to be the first with this sort of thing"
but I guess if you've slept outside HMV in Oxford Street for 12 hours you're gonna have some screws loose somewhere)
Still, it's nice to see Nintendogs doing so well, as hopefully it will encourage Nintendo to come up with more original IPs instead of reusing their existing ones.
