i'm probably the only one here who went due to the reading/leeds festivals, but InFest is a 3 day festival of Industrial darkwave and hardcore dance music held at the Bradford student union. This was my first year going and i have to say i enjoyed it much more than i thought i would. The music was heavy, but not in a "metal" way and some of the fashion was an education.

interesting moments included:

a 6'5" bloke.... who'd had a boob job and was parading round in a cocktail dress (which made a lot of us wonder about his employment status, because boobs or not, it was a very man-ish face :-\ )

2 people copping off during Covenant... and the one in the skirt and corset was the bloke.

some lass with flashing light strips weaved into her hair.

lots of things that flashed.

cheap beer.

Aye, very true. I've seen Ultraviolence live. There were some scary, scary people in the crowd.

hehe, i must admit that i had a similar thought when i saw a lot of the people there though :)
it's basically a room full of people wearing various pages of the Cyberdog catalogue and a massive pair of buffalos/New rocks to make them look taller.
