No console has ever survived like this. 3Do, and M2 were both multi-functional set top boxes... they failed big time.
Basically there will not be any big names on this console. So no one will buy it as a console. So, it is now being bought as a dvd and set-up jobby. Well, it's price will be increased by the console element, making it more expensive than their rivals DVD players...

Anyone remember the PACE and Sega deal? Well, the idea is that in the future, PACE digi boxes will also allow you to play DC games! Surely this is better than the idea of the Nuon. The only problem is that the DC games will be downloaded... not played from a disc. Maybe this would be good if this feature was free and fast?

Pah! Yeah and you think all the top developers will make games for that on top of working for the PS2, X-Box and Gamecube, not to mention the Gameboy Advance and Gameboy Colour.... Not bloody likely!!
