It seems that Vice Citys' Ken Rosenburg (everyones' favourite twitchy lawyer) was inspired, almost down to the last detail by a film called "Carlito's Way"
I turned it on last night and it wasn't long before Dave (aka Ken) came on. For comparison; he hangs out with the Mafia, wears glasses, has a curly ginger afro-type-thing, a large bald patch, wears flamboyant suits and snorts cocaine
So, here's Dave http://www.lovefilm.com/images/static/newsletters/issue45/left04.jpg and here's Ken http://tom.vdh.free.fr/photos/GTA_vicecity/perso/ken_rosenberg_pt.jpg
For point of interest the film stars Al Pacino and was a decent gangster film
I've seen certain things like items and posters which I understand the reference to but some missions, plots and characters are from Scarface. It's unfortunate in that I haven't managed to see it yet
I'll try and download it (legally of course) methinks
Take a look at Scarface tnc and then you'll see a large part of VC is a copy of different elements in the former and Carlito's Way, plus others.
A rather nice reference to Pulp Fiction.
The hoax Moon landings theory is my favourite reference
