Yeah, I always used to sign him if I had the money. Apparently both he and Luis Fabiano had pretty woeful debut seasons in Portugal, though, from what I heard watching Portuguese football on C5.
Still, Diego was the wonderkid I discovered in Champ Manager 4 by myself, so I still love him.

I've got Nuno Valente in my Football Manager 2005 team. He's good.
Yeah, I heard he hadn't filled that Deco role that well, but his winning goal against Chelsea in the Champions League will forever live in my memory. Plus it was set up by Maniche.

This significantly increases Ranger's chances of getting through the group stages of the Champions League (even though they lost 3-0 to HIBS).

Is he a high scoring left back? I'm fond of those in fantasy football. I've got Del Horno and Queudrue at the moment, and had Heinze until he went down in price for not playing.

Yeah, they didn't do too well. Both had moments of brilliance every now and then but most of the time they were sub par. Ah well, another Portuguese player in the Premiership :D
