Me too its quite fun, if you cant be bothered to buy a foot pedal.
The Namco gun is great very accurate (my mate Rob has one)although personnally I found them very heavy...so I bought myself a Scorpion lightgun which is also very good. Its all down to personal preference.
TimeCrisis 2 in the Arcades is superb, that game would definately be worth getting a console for (Microsoft, Nintendo and Sony take note!).
However its expensive at £1 a credit, when I went to America 2 years ago it only cost 50 cents (first credit only) and 25 cents to continue.....Why are we getting ripped off, that means the Americans get to play the game for 15pence a credit...while we pay a £1. Thats another arguement though :-(
As Willma said the gun blasting action doesnt last long...except perhaps for the PointBlank games, theyre timeless due to their two player vs mode. :-)

That is one hell of a game isn't it! :D I can get to the train level on only 1 credit which is pretty good since they only give me 3 health.. Love the machine gun. shame it is not included in Titan..
If you get it make sure you get the lightgun as it's boring without :/ and try and get NAMCO one it's just the best.
It's basically as good as time Crisis 2 arcade - basically the same type of game apart from the 2 player feature :(.
You shoot you duck. You die. You try again. Can be repitive at times but it's up to you.
I loved it. Nothing quite as good as holding a gun in front of you and shooting away at some targets. It takes some skill it's not that simple. You have to fire at people far in the way in the distance.
There are lots of levels to keep you occupied - I still can only get to Area 4-1 :(. The bosses are actually good fun - and there is a new feature which makes you change position - so you can actually move when you want to adding much more strategy to the boss levels. There is lots of different enemies to dispose of so there is lots and lots of challenge.
Also I discovered a great way to play it. You put the 2nd controller on the floor and with your feet press the square, triangle, circle and x buttons. Just like a foot pedal and even more like the arcade.
So if you liked any of the Time Crisis arcade games. BUY THIS! and it is only £32.00 with a GCON 45 Namco light gun so that's a pretty darn good price for what you get - it wouldn't be that much of a loss if you didn't like it. The only way you might not like it is if you hate the arcade games or hate games that make you have to start from the beginning again and learn from your mistakes and try again and again and....
This game would be a welcome addition to any lightgun fans collection but ultimately nothing new. The new version seems more cheesey too (This may be good or bad it depends on your taste)
My advice is to get whatever game/gamepack is cheapest. If you dont have a lightgun then buying ProjectTitan with a G-Con Lightgun is probably the way to go. I personally have a Scorpion lightgun which is great too.
Other great games to buy inlude PointBlank 1,2 and 3 (Not much difference with these either)
The original "Die Hard Trilogy" game.
Be warned though Resident Evil: Survivor, is a strange gun game that was not to my tastes particularly and should probably be rented first before you buy it.
In Summary TimeCrisis Projet Titan... more of the same but no better or worse than the original.
I think you might be talking about Project Titan. Its exactly the same as the first game except for the levels and characters. And I didn't like the first game.. HINT HINT
