Yeah, pretty near where I live. Used to go there and train on the astro at the village college back when I was on the books at Cambridge United.
Strikes me as just another fenny little village. Much like Soham or Streatham.

Change the first t to another o and you've got a winner.
It has botti in its name, and sham.
I propose a meeting at the village hall to get it altered to Shambotti.
And then drop the S and change the i to y ... the village of Hambotty. Much more appealing to outsiders.
