The Core package is plain white.

Yup, Test Drive is looking very nice. The level of detail on everything is outstanding.

Think I'll buy a plain black face-plate if I can, that would be pretty smart with chrome detail. But I'm more bothered about the games too. I saw a pre-view of Test Drive today in gamesmaster, and the level of detail was amazing. If this is a sign of things to come then I'm glad I got my pre-order in early.

It's probably just cosmetic, and a way of saying "I got my 360 at launch!"

If the early ones are dodgy like the early xboxes were then the chrome drives will act as a warning sign. :D
