I personally hope they make it a good one, but not sure how likely that is. I think the safe bet is they'll make a complete monkeys breakfast out of it. Alien vs Predator is a prime example. Oh well, here's hoping, and eagerly awaiting the third in the trilogy when it arrives in our stores.

Personally I'm not pleased, the games were excellent but the notion of a film is slightly ridiculous. The plot will play out like dozens have done so before it - yeah, wife and daughter murdered, out for revenge, police cover up, Mob after him.. Etc. Cliched to the max. (no pun intended)
The game is all shooting and explosions, and that's great, because it's a game! But a film with constant shooting, dodging and evading all the bullets, well, you may as well go watch some crap like Arnie in Commando.
