I'm glad the substitutions were made really.
I ttells us what players we should NEVER play, so we don't need to worry about the same mistakes being made twice (which they will anyway).

Yet I can't understand why Smith felt the need to put Douglas on instead of (the 1 million times better) Gordon, I'm sure he's decided that Gordon will not be coming off very much.

I still haven't forgiven Miller for that Italy miss, excellent goal tonight though. So was O'Connor's.

Defence was looking pretty good.

Any other friendlies to come before the competitive matches?

I think the team that started tonight was very good, Riordan just looked like a little lost Thom Yorke, Rab Douglas is a spastic, and Miller proved me very wrong.

Though I wonder if he could keep that up for a whole match?

It would be interesting to try that out in the next friendly, if there is one.

I'd rather see a complete team play well for 90 minutes in prepartion for Italy/Norway than waste 45 mins of subs and such.

Frankly, it's not going to be the same against Italy, which is a tad annoying.

I don't see what the problem is - it was a friendly and we changed almost half of the team after being comfortably in the lead.

If we'd kept the team the same - particularly the keeper - we probably would have scored another and kept a clean sheet.

It was a good performance, but I now hate Rab Douglas.

Should have buried them. It's been a long, long time since I've been able to say we completely outplayed a team for about 75% of the match, but tonight we really did.

I'd be a lot more annoyed if this was the result in a competitive game after that performance, but even although it is only a friendly, I find it quite frustrating.

Well, it was still a good performance - Rab's never going to get a competitive game so they might as well, for pity's sake, give him a runout against a team they were comprehensively beating.

I hate Scotland and I hate Douglas more.

We were HUMPING them in the 1st half. Sub 4 players and a keeper... GOOD CALL
