Being someone who hates spiders, when I saw one running along my window sill about half an hour ago I went to trap it inside a glass so that someone who isn't terrified of it could dispose of it. Imagine my horror when, as I lowered the glass over it, it actually jumped to safety. What the hell? Spiders don't jump! And before you say, no, it wasn't a flea or any other insect that jumps. It was a spider.
It was about half a centimetre in diameter and was jumping about ten centimetres into the air. It even jumped from the sill to the wall. Come to think of it, it kinda looked like a mini tarantula.
Anyone else ever seen a jumping spider? If I'd have caught it I could have started my own little spider circus (if I wasn't scared to death of the little thing), but unfortunately it jumped off the wall and I lost it. Little git.
Shat myself.

And proud of it.

It wasn't on a web. Believe me. It was jumping way too fast and all over the place.
