This event has already seen its fair share of gold medals and intressting finals but in the last few days has been delayed due to rainfall and the trach covered in rain.
last nights javalin final was exciting as you was just waiting for one of them to slip over in the rain. They weren't getting very good throws but it was still a close final. One athlete come on to one of his throws wearing a booble hat which seemed to make all the difference because he come out of it with a decent throw and i forget if he got a medal but from now on he will now wear that hat with every throw he does in a major competetion.
The 100m mens final was slightly obvious who was going to win as Powell (world record holder ) wasn't there to give Gatlin a run for his money.
Brian Clay won the gruelling decathlon which was not expected of him.
