Does it get the thumbs up or a thumbs down?
Also, any better for the same sort of price range?
It's basically for work/college, moving around the house and playing several games from time to time when I get bored of working.
EDIT: How good is the wireless range? Could I sit in the garden and have the wireless access point in an upstairs bedroom?

The model I've ordered is £649 inc del/vat from Comet, actually cheaper then buying it direct from Acer where it's listed at £750!
On the plus side, I may be able to order it through work knocking £130 VAT off.
You'll be happy to know that that Laptop won a Laptop Mag's "best sub £750 laptop" award.
On the offchance that you get sent 4 by mistake, can I be third in line? ¦^)

Massive thumbs up, excellent in all aspects. Acer make some very nice notebooks. As for wireless range, normall about 300ft for a good signal barring concrete. not to difficult/expensive to boost the signal either.
