I saw the film and I think Johnny Depp is brilliant in it. He can do anything. Horror, comdey, fantasy, drama. He's an amazing actor. One of my faves.

Saw this last night, not bad at all, very Burton yet strangely, not as sinister or adult as the original. Not sure I believe all the 'Dahl would love this version' talk, to be honest, but as kids films go, it's pretty good.
