"Ear malfunction"

I cant hear at all out of my left ear.

I'll keep it breif:

On friday I spent all day listing to my iPod while travelling.

When I got home I had a bath.

I went underwater.

Then couldn't hear out of my left ear as if there was water inside.

Now it's really bugging me and it's really hard to have a conversation with someone when you cant hear them well.

So can anyone help? Has anyone got any suggestions as to what might be the problem? Has it happened to any of you?

I clear my ears regulary btw, at least one a week. Im guessing it might be an ear infection, but I might be wrong. And if it's water trapped in my ear why isn't it coming out?

It's just water trapped in your ear.

It'll go in a while.

Also, don't clean your ears once a week - there's a reason for the wax there, you know.

Lucky for you I have a phd so I can diagnose your problem and prescribe medicine to help you.
