"Important BF2 question."

A mate came round with a PC and we had great enthusiasm about the idea of linking up for some killing action. Unfortunately even the smallest maps are dull with only 2 people. Is it possible to play LAN multiplayer against/with bots? Surely they thought to include this function, but I can\'t see it anywhere. I\'ve scoured the manual but can\'t find any mention of it.

Is it possible, or is there a patch to make it possible? I\'ll be a tad gutted if not.

Finally got it installed again, lame-ass matrix online - crashed my whole comp then I couldnt get it to load again. They probably didnt like the fact that I cancelled my subscription.

If you are commander use Caps lock to go in to commander mode and click the big artillery button then click anywhere on the map where you want it.

It could be turned off in options, check your mic is working then have a look through the options.

hold 'V' to talk

because one of your team might still be alive and he could still take a flag back

use Xfire and normally i end up joining merm and azul on what ever one they are on

Some more questions, seeing as the game is fairly new and there is no info on Gamefaqs.com (a competitor site, KT?).

How do you use the artillery strikes?
I haven't been able to hear anyone talking on any games yet, my mike is set up, how do I get a'chattin?
Why doesn't the game end when one team has taken control of all flags, and you cannot respawn?
What servers do you guys mainly play on?

I'll not bother. it only lets you play with 30 bots on singleplayer.

it appears it isn't actually possible to have bots on a multiplayer game, which is as gay as carrots.
