7. Goldeneye - 5.01m
8. Pokemon Red - 4.83m
9. Mario Kart 64 - 4.80m
That's three GTA games, three Pokemon games, two Mario games, and another game published by Nintendo. It's also three for the PS2, three for the N64, and three for the Gameboy. Not too bad for Ninty really.
My source for this information is teletext so I have no idea how accurate or old this stuff is.

Pokémon Red, Blue and Yellow were for the original Gameboy.

Mind you, GTA probably had a bit more competition. If you had a N64 you virtually much bought Mario and Goldeneye by default.
