The "Freeola Customer Forum" forum, which includes Retro Game Reviews, has been archived and is now read-only. You cannot post here or create a new thread or review on this forum.
I popped in yesterday, have been mooching around, and in the process discovered things aren't what they used to be.
There are lots of inactive SR URLs - for example, things like http://ukps2.com now redirects to http://specialreserve.co.uk/playstation-2, and you have to click through 2 "this page has moved" links to get to where you want to go.
Added to that, people are commenting on the lack of new titles stocked, and the MAXX PC range are apparently no longer available.
About the only thing that hasn't changed are the slanging matches. I see a lot of new names, and a few of the old ones (have many left?), but the arguments continue unabated. Some people seem further up themselves than ever, and the only real change is that "PS2", Xbox" and "Gamecube" have been replaced by "PS3", "360" and "Revolution".
Has SR fallen on hard times? What (if anything) did I miss?

I'm sorry Mr racist, have people been treating you badly?

Because instead of a healthy nice chat, people are abused by the older members. i wont mention names, you know who you are.
Still doesn't explain why the "new" site design sucks so much balls.
Hope all is well.
A kind user took them over after SR went bust. That was like 14 months ago as well! Man, you really are behind!
I was going to let him jump the cannon, but I've changed my mind.

You're jumping the gun a little there
Forums certainly seem nowhere near as active as they once were.
