A good realistic racer.

Ye, we've got Mario Kart and F-Zero, but to be honest I fell the 'Cube needs a solid, beefy racer. PS2 has GT, Xbox has Forza and PGR, but the 'Cube has...well, nothing really.

'Tis a shame. Time after time I see lame, pathetic races like World Racing grace upon the 'Cube, and I long for an exclusive racing series that doesn't involve an Italian in a Red Cap and squillions of weapons.

I don't think Ninty would do something like that though, as they're more into innovation. Hopefully Burnout 3 will hit the 'Cube, but we need our own GT in my opinion.

I found it easy and not uncomfortable in the slightest.

I always defeated my mates at the multiplayer games.

That is what was so great about the N64 controller. You could hold it as you saw fit.

shame on you (for admitting it as much as doing it) for the games where you move around like mario64 that must have been a challenge holding it like that

*Looks down at feet and kicks ground*

I used to hold it like that. It became a habit and I couldn't play games without holding it like that.

My cousin held it like that, we had to show him how to hold it properly.

it was a sad day for all concerned.

I've never seen anyone hold the N64 controller like that, and I think if I did there'd be a strong chance of me laughing at how stupid they looked.

It wasn't exactly difficult to get to grips. Anyone that holds it like that, even on their first play, is a mong. Yep.

The N64 controller was designed in a way to introduce the analogue stick to 3D gaming. It was a clever little invention to use, if you needed to use the analogue stick hold the middle prong. If you needed to use the d-pad the side hand.

It isn't the perfect 3D controller, the Gamecube has developed a better edition. Yet the original N64 controller was the ultimate 3D controller which was fantastic and fun to use.

To say it "ruined" the games is stupid. You are stupid :P. N64's pad was great. end.

And there's the fact that the buttons are stupidly placed so that you can't quickly go between tehm all like you can on the GC controller.

Sure you have to stretch your thumb a bit for the d-pad, but you need to let go on the N-64 controller.

Maybe if they'd just scrapped teh left hand side of teh controller (and make it look a bit odd) it would have been better.
