Can anyone tell me who sung the original of this? I know it is called "A Little Help From My Friends" and i know Sam and Mark from Pop Idol or X-Factor or some other crappy show did the song, but the original is a lot better if i remember right.

Anyone know who it was?

The Joe Cocker version was the theme tune to The Wonder Years. The Beatles original was the one on the album that they gave Ringo to sing.

It was once covered by Wet Wet Wet, featuring Billy Bragg I think.

I think Joe Cocker's done it too.

But I'm pretty sure, as has already been stated, that it was originally The Beatles
