I probably won't buy PS2 but after thinking about it I can't help but feel Sony are making a dreadful mistake by having a dual release date. When PS2 is released in october or whenever it comes out people will see what it is like and the hype surrounding it will start to decrease as people look forward to the next consoles to arrive. Most consoles sell a large percentage of their games of the hype surrounding its release by making it mail order for 4 months they are obviously going to have poorer sales as the machine will only be owned by a few peopl many shops won't stock many PS2 games till after christmas making games harder to obtain and making the console seem worse. I think that they should have delayed the whole console until the shop release date to encourage more sales off the hype and to allow games developers another four months to complete games and so the PS2 will have even more great games on its release date making it more attractive to the average console buyer.

You are entitled to you're opinion ,but this is mine.Sony have already sold 1.4 milion consoles since the launch of the PS2 in japan and compared to the 150,000 sales of the PSX on the same market 5 yrs ago it doesn't take a rocket scientist to work out that the PS2 ain't gonna fail now does it?The people who want the PS2 to fail should really only be their competitors and not the gameing puplic.I personally believe that the sooner we all have our respective consoles the better as competition keeps prices down.So none of us should really be hopeing for the failure of another console of any discription, when you think about it,should we?

I don't want it to fail I was saying they should delay. And they would probably do even better.

I know you weren't saying that and all I was trying to say is that PS2 won't fail,it doesn't matter when it is released,it'll go to the the top.I hope they don't delay as it's what all us PS fans really need right now after being in the shadow of the DC for nearly a year now.All I was doing was expressing an opinion that I felt may relate to you're opinion.

10/10
Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
