Some guy: we could be partners
Lara Croft: but you'll try to kill me
Some guy: i'm not gonna kill you
Lara Croft: i said you'd try
i think that any movie with lines like that have to be pure genius. if the rest of the films up to that standard then we've got ourselves a film of the year. The sexy smile that goes with that last line isnt too bad either...
One thing im not sure about though. At the start of the trailer lara arrives in an ancient temple, undiscovered and unseen by humankind for hundreds of years. As lara disturbs the inches of dust underfoot and sends spiders scurrying from the daylight they've obviously never seen before a huge robotic killing machin leaps out the corner, instantly identifies lara as a threat on its ultra modern heads up display and charges towards her.
Now, to me that seems just a little bit strange. Waddya reckon?
Another concise, entertaining and witty post thrown into the pot.
Well, that's Angelina Jolie in hotpants.
I'm 1st in line for that one.
It leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
The premier was held in the harbour where the USS Arizona still lays at the bottom with all crew entombed.
Nice.
And 3hrs of boring, poor characterisation and plot just to watch some CGI explosions is just a little below what I want to spend £5 on.
I've read the script, so I know what it's about - I choose not to give my money and allow Micheal Bay to think he's done a noble and good thing.

I reckon ANYONE that goes to watch Pearl Harbour is not allowed to comment on any other film ever again due to poor judgement and taste.
