MGS and SC are completely different.

I don't really like MGS. It was good when it broke into the market on the PS, but since then other games like Splinter Cell have taken that idea and improved it. SC3:CT is great.
For me its a close call between:
Metal gear Solid 2: Sons Of Liberty, Burnout 3: Takedown and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.
If forced, I'd go with Metal Gear. If I was locked in a room for a month and told that other than food etc... the only things I could do were one of the games you listed, it'd be GTA though for lastability. Definitely not Burnout in that situation - might possibly collapse!

Other than an hour on GTA I haven't played any of them. Why?
Hmm GTA for the gameplay, but FIFA 2005 cos I can get my team promoted - they haven't a cat in hells chance in reality
