CD's with a higher bit-rate, right? I think they store extra info like images and titles for compatible players.
But can still play on standard CD players?
I don't think they can - I may be wrong though, but I'm sure your player has to support SACD.
Most DVD Players support it though.

SACDs can't play in normal cd player, they need the SACD logo, and are higher quality than cds, they are also capable of 5.1 surround sound. Just another type of dvd-audio.
Fair enough - I'll give them a miss unless they become standard then - for my Hi-fi is fine with normal CDs.
