the only thing that gets on my nerves is the i have had live for 7 months now and it seems a shame for me to have to shell out for another account just to get the freebys. Ok so maybe i should but im just saying wouldnt it be nice if microsoft did something for its existing customers for a change

Nobody is forcing you to shell out again. Besides, what more do you want? You pay for XBox live, Microsoft deliver the quality service in return. Why should they give you something for free just to make you stay?! Good marketing is not about throwing freebies at existing customers, it's about delivering a consistently good service to existing customers, while encouraging new customers along the way.
