A blank page. Endless posibility yet daunting expectancy. Its unspoilt perfection is enough to deter anyone, to make them refrain from tarnishing its flawlessness. However, it only takes a few lines to do it. No longer is it a blank canvas, but a frame on which hopes and dreams can be built. Me, Im just writing anything, but for someone as they scribble line after line slowly watching the page drain away, it means mcuh more.
For in reality, a blank page is much like life. To start with there is nothing; an empty chasm free from characteristics. Yet like life, every new page is something to be admired. But it is true that the page only becomes interseting when it is defaced, when someone removes its perfection to put it to practical use. When covered with even the most trivial of ramblings, a page has found a purpose, fulfilled its meaning by being used, and this is the key. Although you may find the writing of no consequence, just mere scribble on a flawless page, it is unique and therefore valuable. All writing is valuable. No matter if a person feels feels that their life has benn ruined by 'untidy scribbles' and 'pointless ramblings', a life is filled with uniqueness and therefore is to be highly valued.
Although the page is filled and the initial perfection is gone, the value now resides withinj the words on the page. No matter how messy or misguided, these words represent a life that has been lived and is more important than any blank space.
So no writing is nothing, but simply another addition to an individual, invaluable existence.
