Isn't that the same argument as the "its just a game" one though? Its a game, not real life...
Other games can pull it off though, but they tend to be based around stealth. Metal Gear, Splinter Cell, TimeSplitters, they all had stealth levels with one shot kill or close to it if you chose the right difficulty setting.

ill give you that its just a game but seriously think about it , wouldnt you be bored RIGID if you died after one shot, it would be the most stop start game in the world
