An idea as simple as it is...well, simple! Basically you can make your own ASCII movie scenes and edit ones made by other people.

I've added an example, it's really not difficult but I bet some of you lot can muck it up somehow.

Just checked a load, it's fine still - maybe you're confusing badly drawn with some kind of glitch? The code is the same.

Dunno if it's just my machine, but a lot of the drawings seem to have gone out of line. It isn't preserving the spacing intended by the person who drew it.

I.E.

WTF!? Leave it for 24 hours and there are now 138 movies! Keep it up!

and give a much better impression of each film.

We've got nearly as many films.

It's a shame IMDB don't have a section like this for their database.
