Is it possible? Any reccommendations? I'd like to annotate (quite extensively) a few documents I have as PDFs but I don't know how. There seems to be a squillion billion shareware efforts but I don't want to install half of them to find one that works. I'd prefer a free, Linux one but anything that gets the job done will do.
Cheers. I think a friend has Illustrator (legally and everything!) so I'll see if I can borrow it.
Acrobat Pro allows you to edit PDF's. You can do pretty much anything with then from altering text to replacing images. Despite the post, he's completley wrong it what he was saying. All a PDF is, is SGML/Vector data stored in a file which can even be edited in something like Illustrator and re exported as a PDF.
As far as I'm aware things are saved as PDFs if people don't want them altered... So you'll probably have to download something to let you...
