EDIT: Oh, it has 8 games, 2 controllers and a memory card with it as well.

Further examples include the same equipment in both Woolies and Dixons but with the Dixons version being vastly higher in price.

Also TV connector cables are much more expensive in Woolies than in any reasonable TV shop/electrics shop.

Yes and when you see the same product in two different places one vastly more expensive than the other they're acting on the same principle.

Some people will buy the more expensive one as they see it as somesort of indication of higher quality, this approach has kept Sony welloff for years.
