Read that and try (TRY) not to laugh at the big donkey. I tried. And failed. He's always thought he was the best player ever ("I'm better than Henry" - a typical day in DrogbaWorld), but now he's not only convinced he's the best player around, but that he's SO good he makes others look so much better.
"I made Cole and Lampard shine" - my personal favourite.
I'd say 15 goals behind Henry wouldn't be too bad, considering he'll be on the bench all season.
2. He does have the 2nd ugliest hairdo in the premiership. Behind Baros.
3. He does try really hard for the team.
4. We pay over the odds for every player - but that doesn't make Drogba a failure.
And the fact that he 'tries really hard for the team' does not justify 24 million pounds...the likes of Phil Neville and Ade Akynbyi(?) 'try very hard'...they're both still pony!

You always ALWAYS use "flick-ons" as a way of justifying Drogba's worth. Unless you want to name me a long list of examples I think that Drogba sets up no more goals than your average striker would playing with Chelsea.

No only Alec does that.
Let's face it, Drogba is no Henry - I don't see why he bothers comparing himself to him but never mind. But last season, he was good. He didn't score 50 goals, but he did get 16 in his first season in English football, which isn't bad. He set up loads of goals with flick-ons etc and really tried hard for the team. In some games his finishing was awful (e.g West Brom at home) but he still played well for the team. I rarely see Van Nistelrooy back chasing for the team....
