A little problem
I have Sonic Dvd Burner software on my PC and also a collection of DVD-Rs which I can record onto
My problem lies not with the programme, instead the disc drive. It is easy to burn onto a disc but unfortunately my PC only supports CDs
Question :
Bearing in mind I have this software, do I just need a cheap(er) freestanding DVD disc player to write onto or do I have to buy I separate DVD Recorder unit (not like one for tv - designed for pc)
I thought that if I needed a writer the software would be pointless, yet wasn't sure if the writing happened in the programme or the disc drive
All help appreciated

Well, the software will probably do more than what I said - I was just pointing out that it's the drive that dictates which discs you can and can't burn.
It has a button saying 'Copy' which I pressed and then it said the drive only supported CDs ...
You need a DVD writer/recorder - the software merely lets you organise what files/movies/music you want to burn onto the disc.
