I'm looking for a new scanner and printer. The last ones I bought were about 8 years ago, have they got any better or cheaper since then?
Scanner - mainly just for A4 artwork (pencil sketchs and paintings) not photography as I'm digital now. What scanner brand are you using? Who's the top company with scanners?
Printer - printing out artwork and photos maybe some prints I could sell or just frame and keep for myself. What should I be using? Laser? Ink-jet? Thermal? Who's the top dog with printers? What are you using?

I do have a scanner, but it's old and not worth commenting on. I do a fair amount of image printing and whatnot and without touching specialist photo-printers both my inkjets have served the purpose. My Epson C62 was bought when 'released' and is a solid A4 printer. Tho' if you need something a little bigger for your artwork, say an A3 printer, you cant go wrong with a HP Deskjet 1220C, tho' it is rather expensive!
