i wanted to know if xbox live is for me because i might be out to buy it tommorow.
I have broadband but its only 300k or something like that.
Would it lag often and is it easy to set up and also what would i need to start up.

depends who your provider is really
Don't host games. Ever. You'll be hated for it. You should be fine if you avoid 'Quick Match' and search Optimatch for a 'perfect' green connection.
Yes. Just don't set up your own game too often. You may experience total loss of connection to games hosted outside the UK. Or wherever you live.
