this mainly for gnr fans out there. which artist takes over 6 years to release there album. its probably goin to be crap i mean the old gnr where one of the best rock bands of all time but still im interested in the new gnr and there sound (plus the have the guitarist from nine inch nails).
as long as none of it sounds like "My world" from Use Your Illusion 2, it won't be ALL bad :)
Downloaded something called 'keep rising' a few years ago that was supposed to be a demo off the album.

I really hope this is good, but several people who've heard it have said it's pretty sub-par.

Well there's nothing more I can add to what Geffdof said.
6 years? its more like double that. To answer the question, Yes, it probably will come out eventually. The fact that new musicians have been signed up as replacement members makes me think that something is going to happen eventually. They'd be foolish not to release something. Guns n Roses is such a big name and the sales would be huge even if its a below average album.
It will be crap, however. The whole idea of this album was for Axl to go in a different musical direction, hence, kicking everyone else out of the band. If he sticks to his guns (no pun intended) and does something different, then it wont sound like GnR and will seem wrong. If on the other hand he bottles it and does a "more of the same" album, it'll just sound like a clone of GnR, again seeming wrong. So already he's fighting a loosing battle in my mind. Plus the fact that he didnt write all of the songs for GnR anyway, Izzy Stradlin wrote most of them, so his song writing skills probably arent that good anyway.
