Oh yes. Looks fantastic, and what a voice cast.

I really rate Depp, like most people, and I agree he's made to play Wonka, but the trailers just don't feel right, somehow. Can't put my finger on it. Maybe it's just the shadow of how awesome Gene Wilder was.

Corpse Bride trailers, on the other hand, are awesome.

Ed Wood had quite a different feel to it though. I've only seen the second half but loved it.

I just don't like Johnny Depp's acting for this one. It seems cringe-worthy. I mean, he's probably playing the Wonka character to a T, but I just don't really like that camp style of acting.

Corpse Bride looks good.

I'm a big fan of Burton, from his Batman, Scissor Hands, Beetle Juice days and with his more recent Big Fish (marvelous). Looking forward to Charlie and the Chocolate Factory as well as this Spiritual follow up to A Nightmare Before Christmas.

lol! Same here! Beetlejuice did the same - you know when they turn really old.

Tell you a film that still really scares until this day - Jaws and Jurassic Park. They are both so scary!

Edward Scissorhands scared the crap out of me when I was a kid, despite being a family film.

Hm, I'm not sure, I tend to thoroughly enjoy Tim Burton's films, however they sometimes seem to obtain the same atmosphere in a few cases - Sleepy Hollow, Beetlejuice and Edward Scissorhands all felt very similar, despite being excellent films.

I think Willy Wonka looks completely different. And I think Jonny Depp is an absolute cracker of an actor.

Does anybody else think Burton has become a pastiche of himself?

Beetlejuice was excellent, but the same style/monsters/goth design has been reproduced ad nauseam in countless other Burton flicks.
This looks like Nightmare Before Christmas with added Burton trademarks.
