Yo, I've found the functions to get the date/time a file was last modified, but there don't appear to be any reliable ones to find file created info.

filectime - file changed
filemtime - file modified

Both do the same thing! What's the point of that! Annoyance!

Generally *nix filesystem doesn't have file creation time.

ctime gets updated on quite alot of events such as chmod, chown, and a few others. Thats probably why you cant get anything meaningful out of it.

There is st_birthtime, but thats not standard thus probably why php doesn't support it as far as I can see.
