The reason Pete Doherty's album sales went down is because people realised what a complete and utter untalented knob he is, while they simultaneously realised how genius Floyd are.

Echoes was released in 2001 and it went up by 1,343%.
Up The Bracket was 2002 and it went down by 35%.

There's that argument out the window, I'm afraid.

But it went down 35% compared to the previous week's sales, not comapred to 2002's sales
